2010 LEFTY POINTS RACE RULES AND LEGENDS
1. Points are awarded for both participation and performance.
2. Top 20 players and ties at the end of the season will qualify for the Points Championship Tournament to be held on December 1, 2010 at Las Positas Golf Course in Livermore.
3. There will be two (2) majors, The Western States(September) and The Club Championship(October). Points will be doubled in these events.

4. Points Race Legend:

4 points
1st place net (in each flight)
8 points
2nd place net (in each flight)
6 points
3rd place net (in each flight)
4 points
4th place net (in each flight)
2 points
5. Points will be redistributed for the Points Championship Tournament as outlined in the table below.

7. The top 10 places and ties in the Points Championship will win money.
8. Players will play in the Points Championship Tournament paired in order of how they finished in the season points, top 4 will be in the last group.
9. Adjusted season points, combined with the Points Championship points will decide the overall Norcal Lefty 2010 Points Champion.
10. Any players tied in points at the conclusion of the Points Championship Tournament will split their shares. For example, if 2 players tie for second, each will receive half of the combined 2nd and 3rd place payouts.
11. At this time the payout pot is estimated to be $1000.
