“Metropolitan Golf Links will test all level of players and will become a championship-links that offers a great golf experience and spectacular views of the San Francisco Bay.” Johnny Miller. When other nearby courses are flooded or muddy, The Metropolitan Golf Links is playable - and fun to play. In the tradition of the great links courses, The Metropolitan Golf Links is wide open. There’s even some heather and clusters of native grasses to add to the ambiance. But the fairways are mostly open and the greens are large and receptive so that even the high-handicapper can get around expeditiously. Golfers who play The Metropolitan Golf Links frequently know to find the correct part of the green for their approach shots and learn to putt the undulating green surfaces. |

Bayonet Golf Course -- Already drawing rave reviews for its renovation, Bayonet Golf Course has ushered in a new and exciting era for the landmark golf course that overlooks the famed Monterey Peninsula. Certain to provide both challenges and inspiration to golfers for generations to come, Bayonet has been re-sculpted by award-winning golf course architect Gene Bates. Retaining its classic, tree-lined character, while showcasing Bates’ elegant bunkering and graceful greens, the new Bayonet offers expanded views of the bay. Although the overall length of Bayonet has increased only 16 yards, the strategic and visual impact created by Bates’ bunkering is immeasurable. Blackhorse Golf Course -- The sensational new era at Black Horse is certain to provide both challenges and inspiration to golfers for generations to come. The golf course has been re-sculpted by award-winning golf course architect Gene Bates. Showcasing Bates’ elegant bunkering and graceful greens, the new Black Horse offers expanded views of the bay. Distinctively different than its previous design, Black Horse has been transformed from a series of tightly tree-lined holes to a more open, flowing and comfortable environment. Moreover, the strategic and visual impact is nonetheless developing into the ideal complement to Bayonet. |

7th (Wednesday) Lefty / Guest - Turkey Shoot Seascape Golf Course 610 Clubhouse Drive Aptos, CA 95003 |
Perched on the coastal highlands of the northern Monterey Peninsula, Seascape Golf Club offers today's golfers a step back in time to roam a classic course while the sound of ocean waves crash in their ears. Built in 1926 as Rio Del Mar Country Club, the course took a sabbatical during World War II, when it served as a "victory garden" to help grow crops for the nation's war effort. It resurrected at war's end as Seascape, an exceedingly playable 18 holes spread over 6,000 + yards, largely protected from wind by the cypress, Monterey pine and eucalyptus trees lining the course. Barely a half-mile from the crashing waves of the Santa Cruz coast, Seascape's classic design features manicured fairways and well positioned bunkers that guard small tricky greens. |
