Pack up your golf clubs, partner and guests once again to join us for an early fun filled kickoff to the Memorial Day Holiday Weekend. The picturesque Plumas Pines Golf Resort (www.plumaspinesgolf.com) is our destination. We are going back to Plumas Pines this year since everyone had such a great time last year for this event. The Resort is located along the Middle Fork of the Feather River in the Graeagle area of the Plumas National Forest.

Come for the Tournament and stay for the entire weekend. Over the weekend tee times for golf can be made at Plumas Pines, Graeagle Meadows G.C., Grizzly Ranch G.C. and Whitehawk Ranch G.C. Other activities for the entire family include: guest golf, hiking, boating, antiquing, ladies luncheon and a cooking demonstration. For those who like gaming, Reno and North Lake Tahoe are an hour away.

Tournament Field: Limited to 40 teams. Our 10-stroke rule between playing partners will be in effect. Single entries will be accepted.

Format and Starting Times: Team Better-ball with 9:00am shotgun start each day.

Handicaps: May 1 handicaps will be used for the tournament. Maximum handicaps: Men 36 and Women 40.

Entry Closing Date: Saturday May 10. Lodging reservations close Friday May 2.

Wednesday, May 21:
7:30-9:30pm Plumas Pines Golf Resort ~ Longboards Bar and Grill: Welcome Reception and registration (hors d'oeuvres and no-host cocktails).

Thursday, May 22:
9:00am shotgun start: Round One and Guest Golf.
12:30pm Cooking demonstration and Ladies Luncheon ~ Longboards Bar and Grill.
6:00 - 7:00pm Longboards Bar and Grill: No-host Cocktail Party. 7:15pm Dinner.

Friday:
9:00am shotgun start: Final Round and Guest Golf.
1:30pm: Following golf optional Awards Luncheon ~ Longboards Bar and Grill.

$30.00 special rate for Member/Guest Players only. Make tee times well in advance. Contact the Golf Shop

Prize Fund: (with full field of 80 players)
Closest-to-pin at all par 3's both days.
Four Flights: Gross (1) and four places net each flight.
60% of the field will be paid with a full field.

Optional Gaming Contests: (payoffs will be made at Awards Luncheon)
Gross Deuces Game (2 day buy-in $20 per player)
Gross & Net Skins (2 day buy-in $20 per player for each game)
Buy-in must be for both days and will take place at the Wednesday and Thursday Registrations.

Lefty Points Race
Make sure to get some points on the board for the season long Lefty Points Race if you don't have them already by playing in this event. At the end of the season, the points earners are in for some great prizes and gifts so don't miss out!

Make your lodging reservations as soon as possible. Lodging accommodations fill up early for Memorial Day Weekend. Contact: Graeagle Vacation Rentals (530) 836-2500 for reservations use group code "Norcal Lefties". Room block will be held until Friday May 2. They are accepting credit cards this year for the reservation so things will be much smoother. The villas are 2, 3, and 4 bedroom units and the special rates are based on shared accommodations meaning that, for the special rates, there is not an option of having your own villa, so the best thing to do is partner up with other couples when they call in. You are able to have your own villa but the price increases based upon this request. From personal experience last year the villas were very nice accommodations right next to the golf course.

From Bay Area (approx. 4 hours), follow Interstate 80 East to Truckee and turn onto Highway 89 North towards Quincy (Graeagle is 46 Miles from Truckee) go through the town of Graeagle - just as you leave the town make a left at County Road A-14 (Sign) PLUMAS EUREKA ST. PARK go 1.7 Miles - make a right at (Sign) PLUMAS PINES GOLF RESORT onto Poplar Valley Road. The rental office is on the right about 200 feet from the corner. Continue on Poplar Valley Road a short distance to the Clubhouse at the Plumas Pines Golf Resort.

From Reno (1 hour), take Highway 395 North to Hallelujah Junction - exit onto Highway 70 West continue on Highway 70 West through Portola - go about 11 miles West of Portola and make left onto Highway 89 at (Sign) BLAIRSDEN-GRAEAGLE-TRUCKEE go 0.8 Mile - make right at County Road A-14 (Sign) PLUMAS EUREKA ST. PARK go 1.7 Miles - make a right at (Sign) PLUMAS PINES GOLF RESORT onto Poplar Valley Road. The rental office is on the right about 200 feet from the corner.
